Tied Election For President

any chance someone has anything specific (section, rule #, anything) that says a tie in an election of an officer is broken by a re-vote of all eligible voters?

involved with an organization that just had a tie for Pres, and the Board to it upon themselves to break the tie...

"Whichever one of the preceding methods of election is used, if any office remains unfilled after the first ballot, as may happen if there are more than two nominees, the balloting is repeated for that office as many times as necessary to obtain a majority vote for a single candidate." (RONR, 11th ed., pg. 441)

Also, see page 446, which normally prohibits the board from resolving election disputes but specifies that the body can refer an immediately pending dispute to a committee or board.

I don't see how that is applicable to this situation. A tie vote is not an "election dispute."
