Guest Carol Posted December 7, 2010 at 07:59 PM Report Share Posted December 7, 2010 at 07:59 PM Our Board moved into an Executive Session to discuss applications from various vendors for a specific project. A motion was made during the Executive session to select a particular vendor. The discussion & decisions took place during an Executive Session to be fair to all vendors until each was notified of the decision. Now that all vendors have been notified the decision can be public and should be in the public minutes; we are a non-profit, public organization where 'transparency' is important. How does the motion get 'transferred' to the public minutes and how is this worded in the minutes?
George Mervosh Posted December 7, 2010 at 08:04 PM Report Share Posted December 7, 2010 at 08:04 PM It doesn't get transferred, but your Board can agree by majority vote to release the relevant portion of the minutes from the Executive Session.
