Our governing body passed a proposal at our last meeting. However, at their last meeting, the committee from which the original proposal came proposed an amendment to the original proposal that has already passed. How do we amend a proposal that has already been passed by the body?

In general, the adopted motion may be amended by the motion Amend Something Previously Adopted (p. 293 ff.).
