Guest Rickyb Posted December 16, 2010 at 10:30 PM Report Share Posted December 16, 2010 at 10:30 PM A council member in our small town also sits on the sewer authority commitee. The sewer auth.clerk is pregnant & was voted to receive a leave of absence. The council member said she would work in the office while the regular clerk was on leave, and any hours she worked instead of getting paid she would give those hours to the clerk that was on leave. My 2 questions are, can the council member work as a clerk while serving on that commitee, and can she give her hours to the clerk that is on leave? As for the other way around, that's beyond the realm of Robert's Rules.and can she give her hours to the clerk that is on leave? This is not a question of parliamentary procedure.
