For example, if you are a board member and the board makes a recommendation to the membership with which you disagree, you may speak against the recommendation.A2. No. If the board meeting was held in executive session, you may not reveal what transpired. You will be subject to discipline up to and including being ejected from the society for violating the secrecy of an executive session. A member is generally free to let other members know that he does not agree with the board's decision.A member should probably not set up a soapbox in Hyde Park and rail against the idiots on the board.
