Guest Scott Posted January 17, 2011 at 05:03 PM Report Share Posted January 17, 2011 at 05:03 PM Couple of issues for our upcoming AGM. 1. Does the Ballot need to be approved by the Board or can the President create the ballot? 2. If a previous board member, who resigned prior to action being taken for unbecoming conduct, want to be placed on the ballor, is there anything the Board can do to keep this person off the ballot? Thanks,

Thanks,1. Ordinarily, if a ballot is to be preprinted, it is prepared by the secretary of the society without the approval of the board, the latter which has nothing to do with the election.2. No. , provided the person meets the qualifications for the office in the bylaws. Again, the board has nothing to do with the election. Edited to simplify the answer to the second question.
