jstackpo Posted January 18, 2011 at 01:55 AM Report Share Posted January 18, 2011 at 01:55 AM Since RONR doesn't require posting of minutes at all, there are no RONR rules relative to approval before or after. It is wise, however, to be sure the minutes are correct, via "approval", before any sort of distribution of the minutes that your association may want to do. Gary Novosielski Posted January 18, 2011 at 01:59 AM Report Share Posted January 18, 2011 at 01:59 AM Do minutes need approval before posting?RONR doesn't require "posting" at all. What rule are you following by posting them? Depending on how they're posted, where they're posted (why they're posted), and who might read them, you would probably save yourself some headaches by waiting until they are approved, because until then they are subject to correction. If there is some strong reason not to wait, the draft minutes should be prominently marked - D R A F T -But in the end it's your society's decision what becomes of the minutes according to your rules. If your custom rule is unclear, amend it to be more specific.
