What are the rules in having one of the boards members step down to lower position. For xample from president to director. 

Can the board of directors create rules for themselves? Example, make a rule that not one person cannot write checks for themselves.

At least until the board approvals to add to the bylaws.

Or does everything need to be approved, bylaws has nothing that says be we can or can't.

Question:

Can a board member appoint themselves to open paid positions?

Can a board member hold two positions, one as board member and the other as paid employee?

Can the community request the member to pick one or the other?
