Demack Posted March 18, 2014 at 05:41 PM Report Share Posted March 18, 2014 at 05:41 PM I was reading Roberts in regard to executive session. I found were upon returning from executive session any vote taken should be read into the minutes of the regular order meeting. If that's the rule how do you report the vote without breaking confidentiality

If that's the rule how do you report the vote without breaking confidentiality That is not the rule and RONR does not say that. What passage are you looking at? David A Foulkes Posted March 19, 2014 at 11:38 AM Report Share Posted March 19, 2014 at 11:38 AM yeah I read something ... backwards upside or something... Upon first reading, and even second, much of my edition seems at first to be printed that way, too.

Josh Martin Posted March 3, 2015 at 11:33 PM Report Share Posted March 3, 2015 at 11:33 PM When a board votes to go into executive session then returns to reguar session, do you need to take a vote to return to regular session? The board must somehow decide to exit executive session, whether by a formal vote, by unanimous consent, or by previous agreement (for instance, the motion to enter executive session might specify a length of time, or provide that the assembly shall exit executive session when a certain motion is disposed of).For future reference, it is generally best to post a new question as a new topic.
