Josh Martin Posted March 4, 2015 at 02:58 PM Report Share Posted March 4, 2015 at 02:58 PM What are the rules for a closed session; may the executive board close the session to the president, unless it is an employee matter about the president?A meeting of the board may be closed to everyone except members of the board (and any others the board permits to attend). Members of the board have a right to attend and may not be excluded. So if the President is a member of the Executive Board, he may not be excluded. If he is not a member, he may be excluded. Whether it is "an employee matter about the President" is irrelevant.
