Guest Bonnie Posted March 25, 2020 at 01:25 PM Report Share Posted March 25, 2020 at 01:25 PM We are planning an abbreviated convention. Our quorum is based on having at least one representative from 60% of Chapters in the state present at the convention. We have 82 Chapters. The calculation results in 49.2 (60% of 82). Would our quorum be complete at 49 (rounded down) or 50 (rounded up)? Thanks!

I would note that certain actions may be taken in the absence of a quorum, if it comes to that. One of these is to set an adjourned meeting for a later date and time. Guest Bonnie Posted March 25, 2020 at 01:36 PM Report Share Posted March 25, 2020 at 01:36 PM 50 was my choice as well. One of our prominent members believes it to be 49, but I feel that is incorrect. Thank you.
