Quorum based on Percentage

We are planning an abbreviated convention. Our quorum is based on having at least one representative from 60% of Chapters in the state present at the convention.

We have 82 Chapters. The calculation results in 49.2 (60% of 82). Would our quorum be complete at 49 (rounded down) or 50 (rounded up)?

Thanks!

It would be 50. You need at least the number required for quorum. 50 meets the mark, while 49 falls just short.

I would note that certain actions may be taken in the absence of a quorum, if it comes to that. One of these is to set an adjourned meeting for a later date and time.
