how to properly "suspend" a closed door meeting regarding personnel matters

We were having an executive meeting regarding personnel matters.   This means that the participants were only the board directors and excluded the general members and the staff.  We could not complete our discussion during the time available.  We decided to "suspend" this meeting and reconvene after the weekend in order to complete the discussion and determination regarding this personnel matter.   What is the proper wording of the motion to continue this executive session at a specified date and time?

This is a qualified form of the motion to adjourn. The new meeting is an adjourned meeting, which is a continuation of the same session.

The proper wording would have been "I move that the board now adjourn to meet at TIME on DATE."
