  1. Thanks for the replies. We do have one other position called a Rep that specifically states in our bylaws can be held in addition to any other position (officer, director, etc). However, this kind of statement is absent in our bylaws pertaining to officers and directors. Would it be reasonable (or too much of a stretch) to assume that since this statement is included for the Rep and not the director or officer, that its absence indicates it cannot be done?
  2. We have an election coming up and two members wish to run for both an officer and director position. I don't believe a member can be both an officer and director but not certain? Our bylaws do not address this specifically. If they cannot be both, is there anything that prevents them from running for both and if elected to both, only choosing one? If for example they are elected as director and secretary and they choose secretary, does the person who received the second most votes for the director position become the director? Thanks!!
