  1. George, thank you for your prompt response. The 2/3 vote is stipulated as a requirement in the By Laws.
  2. In an upcoming vote a name will be presented for the organization's members to vote on. The vote will be "yes" or "no". How are the ballots handled and how are the votes counted for individuals that have written in the name of someone other than the the name that has been presented if a 2/3 majority vote is required? Thank you in advance for your assistance and wisdom.
  3. I would like to begin by thanking you for the opportunity to take part in this forum. The topic at hand is how to address an individual that initially submitted their name as a candidate for a position and was accepted as a candidate. This was followed by a verbal announcement to have his name withdrawn due to hearsay a few weeks later. Once the hearsay was addressed the individual submitted a letter of reconsideration for the position a few weeks later. Is a vote required in order for the individual to be reconsidered as a candidate?
