Our organization allows write-ins for our Board elections. If write-ins are submitted, does another election need to happen or is it simply still the number of votes?
For example:
Donald Duck only name on the ballot. Receives 20 votes
Write in - Minnie Mouse (2 separate people write in), Goofy (1)
Do we now need to contact Minnie and Goofy and ask if they accept the nomination and hold another election? Or Donald still has the most votes and thus wins?
I can't find the answer to this question and appreciate your help.
