RRO Newbie's Achievements

  1. Officers were elected, but before they were installed, one resigned. The president appointed someone to fill the position, which is allowed by the bylaws (either appoint or have another election). There is still one year left on the term of the appointed person. The president did not win her most recent bid for office. Can the incoming president remove that appointed person from office? Governing documents do no address this at all. Thank you!
  2. Thank you @Gary Novosielskiand @George Mervosh. This is incredibly helpful!
  3. We have staggered elections in my organization. Someone who is in a position that is up for re-election in an odd year is being nominated for a position whose election and tenure begins in an even year. Our bylaws do not allow for someone to hold two elected positions at once. Is there anything in RRO that addresses whether or not this officer should resign their position in order to accept the nomination?
