  1. Thanks for the response. To further clarify… if all members of the board have equal power why would a vote be needed to have correspondence and documents provided to the entire board? Why would the chairman and certain board members only have the privilege of this visibility. Again, thanks for your insight.
  2. Can the chairman of the board and the attorney hired to assist the board refuse to share documents and communications from the county? Instead there is a summary which contains the views of the county provided by the attorney. As a board member with responsibility to make fiscal and oversight decisions it seems critical to know what is really going on.
  3. Thanks for asking for clarification. The committee was formed by the president and the members include some board members and some non-board members. It’s a committee to review RFPs. When a couple board members asked to see the documents in full the president and chairman said that they don’t want to share them as they might contain sensitive info. I’m sure there is nothing in RROO since it would seem to be common sense that all board members have the same info but wanted to ask. Thanks again.
  4. To add… the two board members were out voted when the motion was made.

  6. Can a portion of Board members and officers form a committee to investigate another officer without notifying other board members?
