Our organization is having a discussion about whether or not the name of a person making a motion has to be recorded in the minutes of Board meetings. We are a small Board, 6 members. Please advise.

It was recently discovered a board member of the previous administration re-wrote changes to bylaws, rules and regulations made by an appointed committee before being presented to the membership for a vote. The vote was then left open for many months. Less than 20 members voted, three voted multiple times. The changes were allowed to go into effect. Is there any way this vote can be deemed improper and the changes voided?
