  1. Our organization is revising our constitution. The constitution requires that the "proposed amendments will be submitted for reading" at one meeting, and then discussion and action will take place at the next meeting. There are dozens of amendments. My question is: can distribution of printed proposed amendments at the meeting meet the first "reading" requirement, rather than having to verbally read the entirety of each section with amendments? If so, is there a motion that would necessary -- and what should the minutes reflect? The printed proposed amendments would include every proposed amendment with both the current language and the proposal with strikethrough and insertions color-coded. Thanks for your wisdom!
