Guest DCSC Posted February 9, 2011 at 02:04 AM Report Share Posted February 9, 2011 at 02:04 AM Do you have to invited the general members when sending out a notice of a board meeting? In other words does the general membership have to be sent a meeting notice of a board meeting? There is nothing in the By Laws that says Board Meetings are open. But do you have to let the general membership know you are holding a board meeting?

Robert B Fish Posted February 9, 2011 at 02:19 AM Report Share Posted February 9, 2011 at 02:19 AM The Board must notify the Board Members when it is meeting but has no requirement to notify persons outside the Board. Further, even if they do let others know when they are meeting, there is no requirement that those persons be allowed to attend the meeting.-Bob
