cdlove5 Posted February 15, 2011 at 08:44 PM Report Share Posted February 15, 2011 at 08:44 PM Can an organization change how many members make up a quorum if the history of the chapters shows a small average of attendees. The current quorum tends to exceed the number of members present too often, leaving the organization without a quorum.

Of course, you'll need a quorum at a meeting to do this, so you may be in a Catch 22 unless you can muster the membership (a quorum, at least) to attend. Pizza and beer often work, and door prizes. Whatever it takes! Thanks so much for the response! I will keep my fingers crossed that we can have a quorum to vote on the amendment.
