We also have a Board of Advisorsmade up of past Presidents. Their duty is to review all amendments made to the By Laws and make recommendations to accept orreject amendments. These recommendations are then made in writing to the Board of Directors to either accept or reject the proposed change,if The Board of directors agrees with the Board of Advisors to reject the propsal must it go to the general membership for a vote? But one would hope the general membership could amend the bylaws without any input from the board of directors or the board of advisors. In other words, it shouldn't really matter if the board(s) reject the proposals.But this is not the place for interpreting your bylaws. That requires reading them in their entirety, something that's beyond the scope of this forum. It appears that you began by quoting the bylaws exactly, then moved into sa narrative. Is the Board of Advisors and the duties described so specified in the Bylaws?
