Guest Guest Dunn Posted March 4, 2011 at 11:15 PM Report Share Posted March 4, 2011 at 11:15 PM Council voted and passed on a motion at last meeting. Council member that voted in the minority wants to bring the same issue before council again and take another vote. What is proper procedure? hmtcastle Posted March 4, 2011 at 11:19 PM Report Share Posted March 4, 2011 at 11:19 PM What is proper procedure?Proper procedure is to make a motion to rescind or amend something previously adopted (ASPA). Adoption requires either a two-thirds vote, the vote of the majority of the entire membership (of the council), or, with previous notice, a majority vote.
