Guest Mari Posted March 22, 2011 at 02:58 AM Report Share Posted March 22, 2011 at 02:58 AM Our nominations committee will be presenting a candidate to our exec committee for a new executive director. 1. Is exec commiittee allowed to know who other candidates were?2. If exec committee disagrees with the candidate that the nomination commiittee presents, do they just vote yes or no... Or can they vote for one of the other candidates?

If this is a "typical" election, once the nominating committee has made its report, nominations "from the floor" are accepted. And voters are free to "write in" votes for someone who wasn't nominated at all.Voting "yes" or "no" is not part of the electoral process.
