Guest DOA Posted March 31, 2011 at 02:47 PM Report Share Posted March 31, 2011 at 02:47 PM A general question about the notice needed to be given prior to having a ballot organization vote. Is there such a time frame needed to be posted prior to the voting date?
Robert B Fish Posted March 31, 2011 at 02:51 PM Report Share Posted March 31, 2011 at 02:51 PM Notice, when required, should be specified in your bylaws. RONR says that it must a reasonable amount of time. [page 5 and page 89].Unless your bylaws say so, posting a notice (either on a physical bulletin board or on-line) does not meet the requirements for notifying the members. Mailing a notice by US Postal service does.-Bob
