Guest Paul Posted April 3, 2011 at 12:39 PM Report Share Posted April 3, 2011 at 12:39 PM What Ric and Ralph were trying to say Officers shall be nominated in MARCH. Nominations shall remain open until ready to vote. Officers shall be elected in APRIL.At the MARCH meeting, a member made a motion that all current officers remain in place for the next year (altho ALL CURRENT OFFICERS were not in attendance to accept) mand this motion was seconded and passed.Question is , was this a lawful motion to be voted on since the nominations shall remain open until ready to vote? David A Foulkes Posted April 3, 2011 at 12:43 PM Report Share Posted April 3, 2011 at 12:43 PM Why have you started another thread on the same question? Why not just go back to Ric's question and post there? Now, we have two "conversations" running on the same question.I'd strongly urge you to go back to Ric's thread and post this follow-up there. And I'd suggest until then, no further replies be posted here. But that's just a suggestion.

David A Foulkes Posted April 3, 2011 at 01:29 PM Report Share Posted April 3, 2011 at 01:29 PM Apology accepted. And for further reference, here is the original question if you'd like to see other responses already posted.
