Some board members feel that motions defeated should not be listed under Board Action. It would seems to me that Board Actions means all motions voted on should be listed even if they are defeated. I couldn't locate any ruling in roberts on this.The minutes of the meetings should record all main motions and their disposition (e.g. adopted or lost) but what goes into your newsletter is entirely up to its editor (and your organization).RONR has a lot to say about minutes but nothing at all to say about newsletters.
