voting on contracts

we will only 2/3 majority of full board at meeting. are voting requirements the same for renewal of professional services contract the same as if the contract were for a new contract

RONR does not have any special voting requirements either for establishing or renewing a contract. The default (majority vote) would apply for both. Your organization's rules, applicable law, or the contract itself may provide otherwise.

As long as you have a quorum, a majority vote would be enough to adopt a successor contract. As long as the Yes votes outnumber the No votes, the motion passes.

Abstentions aren't votes, and don't count either way.
