Rescinding a Motion?

Hello,

Our Board (perhaps incorrectly) made a motion and voted on a topic that is subject to negotiation per bargaining agreements. Party A had come to the Board with their version of a schedule. The Board unilaterally made changes to the schedule, motioned and accepted the new schedule. Now, after discussion, the schedule is going before the Board once again. So, I am wondering what the order of motions will be at the new Board meeting and what the minutes should look like. Because, the previous months minutes show that the schedule was voted on and passed. So what happens now? Does the Board have to make a motion to rescind the previous months motion and then continue? I don't know. Please help.

The board may change the original motion by means of the motion to Amend Something Previously Adopted, which requires a 2/3 vote, a vote of a majority of the entire membership (of the board), or a majority vote with previous notice.
