We voted to dismiss a member for no activities for the past several months , we have determined we did not give the person enough time to respond, when they respponded there were reasons known on to a few for the lack oparticipation, How do we reverse the dismissal?

If your bylaws contain a section on reinstatement in such a case, you may have a chance. Otherwise, the person will need to go through whatever steps necessary to become a member again. (p. 298 l.4-6)

I'm not sure, David. We have to ask Doug 2511, the OP, for details. For example: Doug, did you follow all of your rules that say how much time is allowed for responding? (P. 244 (a) and/or (e), maybe.)

I agree. It's crucial to know whether "we did not give the person enough time to respond" is simply a matter of opinion or if it means that the organization did not comply with the Bylaws. If the latter, the dismissal is quite possibly null and void.
