Guest Mike Nelson Posted September 8, 2011 at 11:29 PM Report Share Posted September 8, 2011 at 11:29 PM I have a question regarding trade association minutes: regarding non roll call votes: How does RONR address how to record votes on a motion that has passed. just that the motion passed, or is it necessary to notate what the actual vote was? Similarly, how are votes that fail noted? Thank you!

Similarly, how are votes that fail noted? Generally speaking, it is just noted that the motion passed or failed (or however else the motion was disposed of). The actual vote is only noted if a counted vote is taken.
