Guest Linda P. Posted September 22, 2011 at 07:23 PM Report Share Posted September 22, 2011 at 07:23 PM If a report was approved at the previous monthly meeting and by the next meeting, it was determined that a few of the statistics reported in the appendix of the original report were not correct, does it have to be put to a vote again. Can a report explaining the corrections with an appendix showing the original stats and the revised stats, be introduced under business arising from the previious minutes? The changes are not significant and will have no bearing on the approval of the report.ThanksLinda
Robert B Fish Posted September 22, 2011 at 07:32 PM Report Share Posted September 22, 2011 at 07:32 PM Generally - and for this exact reason - reports are received rather than being approved. The recommendations arising from the reports should be approved (or adopted).Since you did approve the report, you may wish to amend something previously adopted. That takes a 2/3 vote without notice, majority vote with notice, or a majority of the entire membership.-Bob
