Does it require 2/3 votes of membership to pass?It's a change (an amendment) to whatever document determines the name and requires following whatever amendment process that document prescribes. Guest Rochelle Posted November 1, 2011 at 01:20 PM Report Share Posted November 1, 2011 at 01:20 PM The church constitution and by laws states procedure to amend by-laws (Such recommendation for amendment must be presented to the General membership at the membership meeting with prior notice of no less than 2 weeks and such amendment shall require a favorable vote of 3/4 of the General membership before such amendment is deemed approved.)
