Guest HOA Member Posted November 20, 2011 at 12:18 AM Report Share Posted November 20, 2011 at 12:18 AM At last monthly meeting of our HOA board of directors, I asked several questions about certain expenditures. It was a contentious meeting and the board had retained an attorney to be on hand. The board chair, at the advice of the attorney, stated that she was not required to respond to questions from HOA members at the meeting. Can this be true. Doesn't RRO provide more protection to the rank and file than that?

In a meeting of the general members, actions of the board can be countermanded, unless otherwise provided in the bylaws.
