Questioning the Chairperson

Can someone direct me to the proper location in RR that explains questioning a decision of the chair?

For starters, you should take a read of Sections 23 & 24, on Point of Order and Appeal, respectively. You'll want to be sure you've got the 11th Edition of Robert's Rules of Order Newly Revised in hand.

Now, what do you really mean by "decision of the chair?"

The poster may also wish to read RONR, 11th ed., pgs. 293-294 on Parliamentary Inquiry, in case his questioning is purely for information, rather than in the nature of a challenge to the chair's ruling.
