Guest Michele Posted March 26, 2012 at 08:19 PM Report Share Posted March 26, 2012 at 08:19 PM We have started a parents group and filed numerous complaints with the state regrading our unethical principal and the superintendent who is failing to act on our complaints. We turned over copies of most of the complaints to the school board at a meeting and then found out the board turned the complaints over to the superintendent and principal to "review and correct". We feel this was a breach of trust, but we were told by a board member that since we gave them to the board at an "open meeting", they had no choice. The board claims that any documents given out or discussed in a public meeting must be available to anyone who asks for them. Is this true? If so, is there anyway we can get confidential documents to the board?
