Guest Frank V Posted March 31, 2012 at 09:34 PM Report Share Posted March 31, 2012 at 09:34 PM I read about motions requiring censure by an assembly. However, Can the Board of Directors voted to reprimand one of it officers for misconduct etc.?In addition, there is one member who is going around our association talking negative and being very rude etc. Can this member also be reprimanded or told to cease and decist?Thank you. Trina Posted April 1, 2012 at 12:08 PM Report Share Posted April 1, 2012 at 12:08 PM Sure... in either case, a motion can be made (and adopted) to formally say something to the offending individual on behalf of the assembly. However, if you're asking what the effect of such a motion is, that's largely in the hands and mind of the person who is being censured/reprimanded/scolded.
