They need to have their name nominated within a certain amount of days before the agm. If they state that they will be returning does it have to be in the pres position or could it be the past pres. If when the first meeting is held that there is someone willing to step into the pres role can the pres step down to past pres at this time? If he wants to be the president again he'll have to be re-elected. And if he leaves the presidency then he's the past president, whether he wants to be or not.
