Is it a trick question?? Is there any specific voting threshold required we need to know about?? If a majority vote is all that's required, a vote of 6 in favor and 2 opposed would do it.

It would also satisfy a 2/3 vote requirement. It would not satisfy a vote of a majority of the entire membership.

By the previous prez's resignation, I, as V.P. became President pro-tem until nominations could take place. The Director of our Housing Authority suggested we nominate and elect right away since we do not meet for July and August.

So I wanted to inform myself about the procedure.

*Do nomiations from the floor come before volunteers who want to nominate themselves?

*Does each office get voted upon separately?
