Guest Estine Posted July 20, 2012 at 06:01 PM Report Share Posted July 20, 2012 at 06:01 PM We have to collect 10% of vote either by presence or by proxy.The proxy collected does it gives permission to vote for ourselves if we are nominated at a annual meeting. It is specified on proxy for the removal and write in nominees.Do we turn proxy in when we arrive at the Annaul meeting or do we need to hold on to the proxy to show we have collected the 10% quorum at Annual meeting!We have a large mess at our POA at this time. The Board called the Annual meeting on the wrong day! All the members went to meeting and a point of order was called and acknowledged. A motion was made for the removal of all board members serving, the president was not present. There was a 2nd. The assembly voted. Motion passed unanimously.The Board walked out and left the keys.Now a week later we have been advised that we have to do it all over again, and hold the Annual meeting on the day as per our Bylaws.Yes, the board that was voted off is trying to have meeting.We have 200 proxies and then the members that will be present to do this all over.We are going to have 7 write-ins to fill the spots on board.How do we use proxies to vote a new board in and what is the purpose of proxy?Please help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
