Past Precedent of Ignorance

Scenario:

An organization has a set of bylaws that appoint RROO as their parlimentary authority. In said bylaws, the organization has set forth a list of qualifications that make a person eligible to hold an elected office.

If a person has previously been elected to a position without meeting said qualifications, and the mistake was made out of ignorance of the exsisting bylaws; can that person be nominated again/elected again (to the same position), still not meeting the qualifications, simply based on the precedent of being allowed (out of ignorance) to be elected to and hold the same position previously?

Any guidance here would be greatly appreciated...

See RONR (11th ed.), p. 19.

Of course not. But I hope you already knew that.
