Tim Wynn Posted August 18, 2012 at 10:56 PM Report Share Posted August 18, 2012 at 10:56 PM If a club has state officers and the body of that state votes for a person to be nominated to a higher postion can those State Officers nominate and second another person with out the State bodies approval.I'm not clear on the structure of this organization. Is it comprised of several state associations, with each being able to nominate candidates for a position at a regional or national level? Also in the past when a person was nominated that person steped down from thier postion in the club. The Club by-lawes state that a person can't hold more then one postion at a time. Not sure about the rules on this. Thanks for any help SonnyAre these the bylaws of the state-level club, or national, or what?In any event, it's beyond the scope of this forum to determine the meaning of bylaws. As far as RONR is concerned, members have a right to make nominations, which do not require a second.
