Record/Minutes Retention

Is there a legal rule/law or Roberts Rule that says we should keep meeting minutes or the treasurer reports for any certain length of time? What does you organization do with them?

They are maintained by the secretary in record books, which are available for examination by members. See RONR (11th ed.), pp. 459-460.
