Guest ROBERT PAUST Posted November 21, 2012 at 05:32 PM Report Share Posted November 21, 2012 at 05:32 PM The board held a trail on charges put forth by a member against another. The decision by the board was made on the 1st of november. As of this date no notification has been written to the person being charged. The by-laws state no time for informing of the decision. Is the decision void after a certain amount of time of not being informed?

Is the decision void after a certain amount of time of not being informed?Remember i before a, especially when spelling trial. If your board had the authority to do everything that it did, nothing in RONR will invalidate its action simply because the member was not informed of the decision. However, any authority of the board to remove a member must come from your bylaws or a higher governing document, because it certainly doesn't come from RONR.
