Visitors at a Board Meeting

What are the rules regarding visitors at a Board Meeting? Can they stay for the whole meeting or should they just be allowed to stay for their item of discussion. I can't find anything on this in Roberts Rules of Order. If it is there, would you please refer me to the page number? Thanks.

As far as RONR is concerned, it's entirely up to the assembly (in this case, the board members present) whether to allow non-members (of the board in this case) to attend and/or speak at its meetings. The board could allow some but not all, and for a short time or for the entire meeting.

It's at the board's discretion.

See RONR, 11th ed., pg. 96, lines 21-24.
