Guest Linda B Posted November 28, 2012 at 11:05 PM Report Share Posted November 28, 2012 at 11:05 PM What are the rules regarding visitors at a Board Meeting? Can they stay for the whole meeting or should they just be allowed to stay for their item of discussion. I can't find anything on this in Roberts Rules of Order. If it is there, would you please refer me to the page number? Thanks.
Guest Edgar Posted November 28, 2012 at 11:11 PM Report Share Posted November 28, 2012 at 11:11 PM What are the rules regarding visitors at a Board Meeting? As far as RONR is concerned, it's entirely up to the assembly (in this case, the board members present) whether to allow non-members (of the board in this case) to attend and/or speak at its meetings. The board could allow some but not all, and for a short time or for the entire meeting.
