Guest Lloyd Dobler Posted January 9, 2013 at 09:31 PM Report Share Posted January 9, 2013 at 09:31 PM If an elected Board is asked to sit in on a non-elected Board's meeting, does this constitute a meeting of the elected Board since they are all in the same room together? They are only there to listen to what the non-elected Board is discussing.

In fact the "elected board", as a board, won't be there at all, just some or all of the elected board members. But if you're referring to a municipal board, it might be subject to so-called "open meeting" or "sunshine" laws.
