Guest Edgar Posted November 24, 2013 at 04:45 PM Report Share Posted November 24, 2013 at 04:45 PM Can anyone provide an example or two of high-quality proceedings of an assembly (as described in RONR)? I think The Congressional Record can be considered to be "proceedings" in the sense that RONR uses the term. You can also Google "proceedings of" to find thousands of examples. Sean Hunt Posted November 24, 2013 at 07:30 PM Author Report Share Posted November 24, 2013 at 07:30 PM I think The Congressional Record can be considered to be "proceedings" in the sense that RONR uses the term. You can also Google "proceedings of" to find thousands of examples. Verbatim transcripts are not the object here, and I would not turn to the wide open Internet for examples of good minutes, so I doubt I'd find good proceedings that way either. Dan Honemann Posted November 24, 2013 at 07:57 PM Report Share Posted November 24, 2013 at 07:57 PM Back in ancient times, when I was serving as parliamentarian for the Maryland State Bar Association, we produced RONR style minutes for all membership meetings, but we also published a verbatim transcript of the proceedings, which, if I recall correctly, were entitled "Transactions". I suppose they still do. These "Transactions", and the Congressional Record which Edgar has referred to, are the only examples that come immediately to mind. Josh Martin Posted November 25, 2013 at 03:43 PM Report Share Posted November 25, 2013 at 03:43 PM Verbatim transcripts are not the object here, and I would not turn to the wide open Internet for examples of good minutes, so I doubt I'd find good proceedings that way either. Is this a better example of the level of detail you're looking for?
