Renegade1313 Posted April 7, 2014 at 11:58 PM Report Share Posted April 7, 2014 at 11:58 PM My question is the chair/President always expected to read his report or can he submit copies to the membership? We as of now just pass copies of minutes out to the members at the meeting and ask for changes but we do not read aloud. Is this possible under any circumstances for the Chair/President. It is a common practice in many assemblies to distribute copies of reports for information only (including the report of the President) instead of reading them aloud, in the interest of saving time. This is perfectly acceptable.
