Guest Beth Posted July 29, 2014 at 02:56 PM Report Share Posted July 29, 2014 at 02:56 PM For an item to be eligible for a motion, must it appear on the draft agenda so all board members have the knowledge and opportunity to vote for or against for a potential motion? This way a proxy vote may be given for or against the motion. And, does RONR have language about when a motion should have a "second reading" prior to a vote? Is this something that should be included in the by laws? Thanks for the help!Beth

And, does RONR have language about when a motion should have a "second reading" prior to a vote? Is this something that should be included in the by laws?RONR is silent concerning second readings. Certain motions may require previous notice.
