Tom Morelock Posted May 19, 2015 at 11:49 PM Report Share Posted May 19, 2015 at 11:49 PM so when you amend bylaws should there be a statement at the end of them that says something like "amended such&such date" verses revised? anytime we have changed our bylaws we always put at the bottom "revised " and then the date. is this wrong? they have only been revised once since i have been involved but we have amended them several times. Josh Martin Posted May 19, 2015 at 11:53 PM Report Share Posted May 19, 2015 at 11:53 PM so when you amend bylaws should there be a statement at the end of them that says something like "amended such&such date" verses revised It's not required, but it doesn't hurt. anytime we have changed our bylaws we always put at the bottom "revised " and then the date. is this wrong? they have only been revised once since i have been involved but we have amended them several times. I don't think it's a problem. With a statement like this, I think it is understood that "revised" is meant in the general sense of the word, not the formal parliamentary sense.
